Over the 2022 Christmas break, five piano families got together and planned a special day for a local assisted living facility to bring joy to this often-forgotten community. They brought crafts for the residents and also played Christmas songs for them…a couple of parents even joined in on the fun and played as well! Thanks for your hearts for others and using your musical gifts to bring joy to those around you!!

These two brothers completed one full year of piano lessons. Emmett (pictured on the right) informed Mr. D that he had collected a grand total of 168 erasers throughout the year as his weekly reward for all the hard work!! Way to go guys!!

Miss Isabella informed me that she had written her own piano lesson book to teach other kids how to play piano!! It includes original characters, games, and songs!! So proud of her creativity!!
A highlight of my week is lessons with Mrs. Linda!! She is 82-years-young and after the passing of her husband last year, she often finds a peaceful moment in the evenings just to sit at the piano to let the music bring comfort and rest to her soul. We not only play gospel, hymns and Broadway songs, but we also talk about life and laugh a lot!

Working with high school students is so rewarding!! Great conversational and musical skills being learned. Jonah completed a thick piano book with over 100 songs!! Awesome man!!
This couple is life goals. Mrs. June is 89 years old and Mr. Bob is 91 years old and they still play golf 5 days a week. Mrs. June has been taking piano lessons for the past two years and is doing so well!! What a joy to teach all ages from 4 up to 89!!!
